Garth Brooks has announced a 10-concert tour across the island of Ireland for summer 2027. The country singer, who last performed in Ireland in September 2022, will play in Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick, and Cork. The tour will take place in May and June 2027. No concerts will be held in Dublin.
Brooks will perform two nights in each of the five cities. The tour includes Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, where he previously played sold-out shows. The singer expressed excitement about returning to Ireland, stating that the country has a special place in his heart.
This marks Brooks' long-awaited return to Ireland after a five-year hiatus. His 2022 tour at Dublin’s Croke Park saw over 400,000 tickets sold. The 2027 tour will be his first since then. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement, with many expressing disappointment over the absence of Dublin dates.
Brooks has had a complex relationship with performing in Ireland. While he has performed in several cities, Dublin has remained off-limits. The decision to exclude Dublin from the 2027 tour has sparked discussions among fans and media. Despite this, the tour is expected to draw large crowds and generate significant interest.
The 2027 tour represents a major event in Irish music culture, highlighting Brooks' continued influence and popularity in the region. Fans across the island are preparing for what promises to be a memorable summer of country music.
